My love affair of floral design began while I was attending the University of Colorado as a Sculpture Major. I had recently graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado with a degree in Visual Arts. During my time at CU Boulder I was making a living as a graphic artist, but while taking a sculpture and
3-D installation course at the University, I realized the unlimited possibilities that lie in the rich, natural palette of flowers.
I began designing with flowers in an attempt to evoke the same emotions and impact achieved through traditional Sculpture, Graphics and Installation Art.
For the past 8 years I worked in every facet of the floral industry, diligently studying flower varieties and design technique. I have learned to celebrate tradition while embracing the contemporary. I have come to appreciate the fact that every piece is as unique as each client. My passion and my professionalism run as deep as my respect for the process. I work with extraordinary speed and skill, without sacrificing detail.
Implementing a customer service technique that makes my clients feel comfortable, special, creative and respected has been key. I keep the client budget in mind while at the same time creating something unique to their personality. I comfortably maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, which that ensures me access to hard to find varieties and specials.
